It’s also a place with beautiful nature, from sandy beaches to tall, rolling hills. Boston is the biggest city, like the main playground for everyone in the region!
When Explorers Sailed the Seas!
A long, long time ago, brave people called Pilgrims sailed across the ocean and landed here in 1620. They started a place called Plymouth Colony. Then, other groups came and started more towns.
These early settlers faced many challenges but worked hard to build new homes. They even had big disagreements with the King of England, which led to important fights for freedom that helped create the United States!
Amazing Nature and Busy Towns!
New England has super cool geography! In some parts, you'll find flat land near the ocean, perfect for beaches.
