About Small Whale

We are Antti and Benjamin Pasila and we are the creators of Small Whale. The Small Whale project started in October 2025 as a school mid-term break side project. It started off as an idea to create a cool educational app – and ended up in creating something of a mix between an encyclopedia and Wikipedia for kids – that sure escalated faster and further than what we had planned.

Small Whale is a passion project we intend to continue building for years to come. For us it's all about learning new things, having fun,spending quality time together and being able to share our work with everyone around the world.

Our mission is simple: making quality, age-appropriate educational content accessible to curious minds everywhere. Small Whale is built with love, powered by curiosity, and designed to make learning fun.
