Forest steppe

Forest steppes are special places on Earth where you find both wide-open grassy fields, like a giant park, and patches of forests with lots of trees. It's like a mix between a meadow and a woodland! These places are usually found in cooler parts of the world, like in Eastern Europe and parts of Asia.

The weather can change a lot, with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Think of it as a big, beautiful landscape where you can run in the grass and then hide behind a tree!
