Meet the Super Team!

In a huge global game called World War I, some countries decided to team up. This team was called the Central Powers! It was made up of Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria. They were like four friends deciding to play together against other teams.

How Did They Become a Team?

The idea for this team started a long time ago, with Germany and Austria-Hungary becoming friends in 1879. Later, other countries, like the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria, joined the team after the game had already started. It was like players joining a team mid-season!

What Was Their Big Goal?

The Central Powers wanted to win the big game, World War I. They faced off against another big team called the Allied Powers. It was a very serious and important time, and these teams fought for many years until the game ended in 1918.

The Game Ends!

Sadly for the Central Powers, their team didn't win the game. They lost World War I in 1918. After the game was over, their team broke up. It was a very important part of history, like a big chapter in a history book.
