Bessarabia

Bessarabia is a special place tucked between two big rivers: the Dniester on one side and the Prut on the other. Think of it like a giant sandwich with rivers as the bread! Most of this land is now a country called Moldova, but parts of it are also in Ukraine.

It's a land with rolling hills and sunny weather, perfect for growing yummy fruits and vegetables. The rivers are super important, like highways for boats and homes for fish!

Bessarabia has a very interesting past. For a long time, it was part of a place called the Principality of Moldavia. Then, different powerful empires took turns looking after it, like the Ottoman Empire and the Russian Empire.
