Battle of Jerusalem

Imagine a super important city, holy to many people. During a big war called World War I, two big groups, the British Empire and the Ottoman Empire, were fighting. The British wanted to capture Jerusalem, a city that was like a giant prize! They had already won other battles nearby, and taking Jerusalem was the next big goal in their plan to win the war in that part of the world.

The fighting to get to Jerusalem was tough! It happened in hills and around the city. The British soldiers had to be very clever and brave.
