The Apple of Discord

Once upon a time, at a super fancy party for Peleus and Thetis, a goddess named Eris got a little grumpy because she wasn't invited. So, she tossed a shiny golden apple into the party! It had fancy writing on it that said, 'For the Most Beautiful.' Three powerful goddesses, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite, all thought it was for them!

They started arguing, and this little apple caused a giant problem.

The goddesses couldn't agree on who was the most beautiful. So, they asked a prince named Paris to decide. Each goddess offered him something amazing.

Hera offered power, Athena offered wisdom, and Aphrodite offered the most beautiful woman in the world. Paris chose Aphrodite, which made Hera and Athena very angry. This argument, all because of a golden apple, eventually led to a huge war called the Trojan War!
