Homer

Long, long ago, in ancient Greece, there was a very special poet named Homer. We don't know exactly when he lived, but it was probably around 2,700 years ago! That's older than your grandparents' grandparents' grandparents!

Homer is famous for writing two super-long poems: the Iliad and the Odyssey. These poems are like ancient adventure movies filled with heroes, monsters, and exciting journeys. Even though we don't know everything about Homer, his stories are still super important today!
