Welcome to Venezuela!

Venezuela is a country in South America, which is a big continent with lots of countries. It has a long coastline along the Caribbean Sea, which is like a giant, warm swimming pool! Venezuela is made up of a big piece of land and lots of little islands.

It's a pretty big country, almost as big as two of the biggest US states put together! Most people in Venezuela live in cities, especially in the capital city called Caracas.

A Land of Many Adventures

Venezuela has so many different kinds of places! You can find sunny beaches perfect for building sandcastles, and also huge mountains that touch the clouds. There are even amazing waterfalls that are taller than a 10-story building! Some parts of Venezuela are covered in rainforests, where you might see colorful birds and playful monkeys. It's a place with lots of nature to explore.

A Treasure Underground!

Did you know Venezuela has a super special treasure? It's not gold or jewels, but something called oil! Venezuela has more oil than almost any other country in the world. This oil is like a magic potion that helps power cars and make electricity. Because they have so much oil, it's a very important part of their country's story and how they trade with other countries.

Venezuela's Story

A long, long time ago, people from Spain came to Venezuela and made it their home. Later, Venezuela decided it wanted to be its own country, and it became independent! For a while, the country had some ups and downs, like a roller coaster. Today, Venezuela is still a country with many dreams and a unique place in the world.
