Sulawesi

Sulawesi is a super big island, the 11th largest in the whole world! It's part of a country called Indonesia. Think of it like a giant puzzle piece in the ocean, east of Borneo and west of other islands called Maluku.

It has four long, skinny parts that stick out, like the arms of a starfish or a weirdly shaped hand. These parts are called peninsulas, and they have cool names like Minahasa and the East Peninsula. Three big dips in the land, called gulfs, separate these arms.

It's a truly unique shape!
