President of Russia

It has snowy forests, huge mountains, and even frozen lands called the Arctic. The capital city, Moscow, is where the President works. Russia is so wide, it touches many other countries and even the ocean.

The President of Russia is like the captain of a giant ship. They are the head of the country and make important choices. The President is also in charge of Russia's army. They have to make sure everyone in Russia is safe and that the country is run well. It's a very big job for one person!

The President gets to decide many things. They help choose the people who lead different parts of the government, like ministers who manage schools or hospitals. People in Russia get to vote for their President, kind of like voting for class president, but for the whole country! They choose someone they think will do the best job. The President stays in charge for six years, which is longer than you'll be in elementary school! Then, people can vote again.
