Muhammad

Imagine a kind person named Muhammad who lived a long, long time ago in a city called Mecca. He was born around the year 570. Muhammad was known for being honest and fair. He grew up with his grandfather and then his uncle, who took good care of him. He liked to think and pray, sometimes going to a quiet cave on a mountain to be alone with his thoughts.

When Muhammad was 40 years old, something amazing happened! He was in that quiet mountain cave when he felt like he met an angel named Gabriel. This angel told him that God, called Allah, had a very important message for him to share with everyone. This message was about believing in only one God. It was like getting a super special secret code from the heavens!

Muhammad started telling people about this message. He said that everyone should be good and kind, and that God is one. At first, not many people listened, and some people didn't like his message.

They even made it hard for him and his followers. So, Muhammad and his friends had to move to a different city called Medina. This journey is called the Hijrah, and it's like the start of a new calendar for Muslims!

In Medina, Muhammad helped bring people together. He taught them how to live by the message he received. This message became the religion of Islam. The words that Muhammad shared are written in a holy book called the Quran. By the time Muhammad passed away in 632, many people in Arabia had learned about Islam and believed in one God.
