Allah

Imagine the biggest, brightest star you can think of, and then imagine something even bigger and more amazing! That's a little like how Muslims think of Allah. Allah is the Arabic word for 'God'.

Muslims believe Allah is the one and only God, who made everything we see and don't see. They believe Allah is all-powerful and all-knowing. When Muslims say 'Allah', they are talking about the Creator of the sky, the oceans, the animals, and even you and me!

The idea of Allah is super old, going back thousands of years! People have believed in one God for a very, very long time. The Prophet Muhammad, who lived about 1,400 years ago, is very important because Muslims believe he was chosen by Allah to share God's message.

This message is written in a holy book called the Quran. The Quran tells stories and teaches people how to live good lives, following Allah's guidance.

For Muslims, Allah is the most important part of their lives. They believe Allah is the source of all love, mercy, and guidance. When something good happens, they thank Allah.

When they need help, they ask Allah. Praying to Allah is like talking to your best friend or parent, but even more special. It helps them feel strong, safe, and loved.

Muslims believe Allah has many wonderful qualities. They call these 'The 99 Names of Allah', like 'The Merciful', 'The Compassionate', and 'The All-Knowing'. These names help them understand how amazing and loving Allah is.
