Medellín, Spain

Medellín is a small village tucked away in a part of Spain called Extremadura. It's not a big city like Madrid, but it's special! Think of it like a cozy little town square where everyone knows each other. It sits in a sunny part of Spain, where the weather is usually warm and nice, perfect for exploring old buildings and playing outside.

This village is super old! It was even a military base for Roman soldiers a very, very long time ago. They built a theater there, like a mini-playground for grown-ups to watch shows! Guess what? A super famous explorer named Hernán Cortés was born right here in Medellín! He sailed across the ocean and explored new lands. Even though Medellín has amazing history, it's a very small place. Only about 2,300 people live there. That's fewer people than might be in your whole school! It's a quiet place where you can imagine what life was like hundreds of years ago, with its ancient theater and strong castle walls.
