Where is This Magical Place?
Extremadura is a special part of Spain, way over on the western side, almost touching Portugal! It's like a giant puzzle piece in the middle of the country. Two super long rivers, the Tagus and the Guadiana, zoom through it from east to west, like watery highways.
It's made up of two really, really big areas called provinces: Cáceres and Badajoz. Think of them as two huge playgrounds side-by-side!

This place is a paradise for animals! There's a famous park called Monfragüe, which is like a super-duper nature reserve. It's so important that it's now a National Park!
