Kabul River

The Kabul River is like a long, winding snake made of water! It starts high up in the snowy Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan. Think of it as starting at the very tippy-top of a giant playground slide.

Then, it flows for a super long way, about 700 kilometers, which is like walking from your house to a friend's house many, many times! It's the main river in eastern Afghanistan and a part of Pakistan called Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It's a very important watery highway!

This river has a big adventure! It begins its journey in the Sanglakh Range, which is part of the huge Hindu Kush mountains. It's so high up, it's like being on top of the world!

The river has to travel a long, long way to reach its end. It flows past mountains and valleys, and eventually, it joins up with another giant river called the Indus River. This happens near a place called Attock in Pakistan.

It's like two big friends meeting up for a hug!
