Where is Attock?
Imagine a city in Pakistan, a country far away! Attock is not too far from its capital city, Islamabad. It's like being close to your school's main office. Attock is the boss city of its own area, called Attock District. It's a pretty big city, ranking 36th in its province and 61st in the whole country. That means lots of people call Attock home!
A City with a Secret Name!
Attock wasn't always called Attock! A long, long time ago, in the 1500s, a powerful emperor named Akbar built a historical city nearby. Later, a new city was built. It was first named Campbellpur to honor a person named Sir Colin Campbell. But then, it changed its name back to Attock, which is much older and more special!

Attock is a place where people live, work, and go to school. It's the main city for the Attock District, like how your town has a main street. People there speak languages like Punjabi and Urdu. It's a busy place with many people living there, making it one of the larger cities in its region.
