Meet the Mighty Leader!

Once upon a time, in a land of sand and sun, lived a boy named Abdulaziz. But everyone called him Ibn Saud! He was born a long, long time ago, in January 1876. His family had to leave their home, but Ibn Saud was super brave. When he grew up, he decided to take back his home city, Riyadh, and he did it! It was like winning a giant game of tag, but for a whole country!

From a Small City to a Big Kingdom!

Ibn Saud didn't stop after taking back Riyadh. He was like a superhero on a mission! Over many years, he traveled across the desert and convinced many tribes to join him. He was a great leader, and people listened to him. By 1932, he had brought together almost all of the land that is now Saudi Arabia. He became its very first king, ruling over a land as big as many playgrounds put together!

A Surprise Under the Sand!

As king, Ibn Saud was busy building his new country. Then, something amazing happened in 1938. Workers found a black, gooey liquid deep under the sand. It was oil! This oil was like black gold. It helped Saudi Arabia grow even bigger and stronger. It's the same kind of oil that helps power cars and make many things we use every day. Wow!

A King with Lots of Kids!

Ibn Saud was not just a king, but also a dad! He had a HUGE family with 45 sons! Can you imagine that many brothers? All the kings who have ruled Saudi Arabia since he died have been his sons or grandsons. He was a very important person who started a whole country and discovered something super valuable that still matters today.
