Fujian

Imagine a big, beautiful part of China called Fujian! It’s on the southeastern coast, like a friendly wave reaching out to the sea. To its north is Zhejiang, to its west is Jiangxi, and to its south is Guangdong.

The big, blue Taiwan Strait is on its east side. The main city, Fuzhou, is like the capital where important decisions are made. Fujian is super close to Taiwan, closer than you might think!

Fujian is a land of green mountains and sparkling rivers. It has a warm, sunny climate, perfect for growing tasty fruits and vegetables. The land is shaped by hills and mountains, making it look like a bumpy green blanket. It's a place where nature shows off its beauty with stunning landscapes. Think of tall trees and winding paths through the hills. It’s a very pretty place to explore!

Lots of people call Fujian home! They speak many different languages, like different kinds of music. One is called Min Chinese, and it sounds really unique.

Some people also speak Hakka. These languages are so different that people who speak them might not understand each other! Because many people have moved away to places like Taiwan and Singapore, you can hear Fujian languages spoken far away too.

People in Fujian work hard and are very smart! They are known for doing well in school and learning new things. They also make cool stuff and trade with other places. The cities of Xiamen and Fuzhou are even famous around the world for their science and research. This means people there are discovering new ideas and inventions. Fujian is a busy and clever place!
