Where is this Giant City?

Ciudad de México, which means 'Mexico City' in English, is a super big city in the country of Mexico! It's like the heart of the country. It sits in a huge valley, kind of like a giant bowl, surrounded by tall mountains.

Even though it's far from the ocean, it used to be a city built on water, like Venice! It has a pretty mild climate, meaning it's not usually too hot or too cold, perfect for exploring.

A City with a Secret Past!

A super long time ago, this city was called Tenochtitlan and was built by the Aztecs on an island in a big lake. They were amazing builders! They even created floating gardens.
