Chandragupta Maurya

Even the greatest heroes need friends! Chandragupta had a very wise teacher named Chanakya. Chanakya was like a super-smart advisor who helped Chandragupta make important decisions.

Together, they made sure the empire was run well. Chandragupta also made friends with other powerful leaders, sometimes by marrying their daughters. This helped his empire grow even bigger and stronger, like adding more swings to your playground!

Chandragupta Maurya is remembered because he was the very first emperor of the Maurya Empire. He created a strong country that lasted for a long time.
