Where is Bihar?

Bihar is a special place in the eastern part of India. It's like a big puzzle piece bordered by other Indian states and even a whole country called Nepal to the north! A super important river, the Ganges, flows right through the middle, like a giant blue ribbon.

This river helps make the land green and good for growing things. Bihar is the second-biggest state in India when it comes to how many people live there, which is a LOT of friends!

A Land of Old Stories

Long, long ago, Bihar was like the brain of ancient India. Super smart people lived there and thought up big ideas. Two important religions, Jainism and Buddhism, started in this very area! Imagine, the ideas that became Buddhism, which millions of people follow today, began right here. It's like the birthplace of some of the world's biggest stories and ways of thinking.

Lots of Young People!

Guess what? Bihar has more young people than almost anywhere else in India! That means there are tons of kids and teenagers, full of energy and new ideas. It’s like a giant playground where everyone is still growing up and learning. This makes Bihar a very lively and exciting place, always buzzing with activity and ready for new adventures.

What Do People Do?

People in Bihar work hard at many things. They grow food like rice and wheat in the fertile lands, thanks to the Ganges River. Many people also work in factories or help build things. The state is working hard to get even better, with more schools and safer places to live. It’s a place that’s always trying to grow and improve, like you do every day!
