Battle of Megiddo (1918)

Long ago, during a giant world war, two big teams of soldiers were getting ready for a super important fight. One team was called the Allied Egyptian Expeditionary Force, and the other was the Ottoman Yildirim Army Group. They were fighting in a place that is now Israel, Syria, and Jordan.

The leader of the Allied team was a clever general named Edmund Allenby. He wanted to win this battle in a special way, using speed and surprise!

The battle happened over a few days in September. General Allenby had a super plan! First, some soldiers on foot broke through the enemy's defenses, like popping through a paper wall.
