What Happened During the Fighting?
During these eight days, lots of rockets were fired. Some rockets were aimed at cities in Israel, like Tel Aviv, which is a big city. Israel also fired many rockets and bombs into Gaza. Sadly, many people were hurt, and some families had to leave their homes because their houses were damaged. It was a very difficult time for the people living there, with loud noises and a lot of worry.
Did the Fighting Stop?
After eight days of fighting, leaders from different countries helped everyone agree to stop. It was like a teacher stepping in to make sure everyone calmed down. Both sides said they had won, but it was a sad time because people were hurt. This event showed how important it is for people to find peaceful ways to solve their problems.
