Woolworth Building

This super tall building lives in a busy place called New York City, in a neighborhood called Tribeca. It stands right next to a pretty park called City Hall Park. A clever man named F. W. Woolworth wanted a special home for his company, which sold fun things for just five or ten cents. He imagined a building so grand, it would be the tallest in the world! It took a lot of hard work to build, starting in 1910 and finishing in 1913. That's older than your grandparents!
