Who Was Thutmose III?
Imagine a king who was also a super-brave soldier! That was Thutmose III, a pharaoh of ancient Egypt. He was born a long, long time ago, around 1479 BCE. He became pharaoh when he was just a little boy, but his stepmom, Hatshepsut, was in charge for a while. When he grew up, he became one of Egypt's greatest rulers and a fantastic general. He loved to explore and make Egypt bigger and stronger!
