Meet the Kingdom Superstars!

Once upon a time, Korea wasn't just one country, but three! There was Goguryeo, a super strong kingdom in the north, Baekje in the southwest, and Silla in the southeast. They were like three big teams all playing on the same playground, trying to be the best.

Each kingdom had its own king, its own special ways of doing things, and its own awesome warriors. They built big castles and had exciting battles to see who would be the most powerful.

When Did This Happen?

These kingdoms started way back, around the time of dinosaurs, but they really got going about 2,000 years ago! That's older than your grandparents' grandparents' grandparents! For hundreds of years, these three kingdoms grew and changed.

Sometimes they were friends, and sometimes they fought. It was a very busy time in Korean history, with lots of important events happening all over the peninsula.

Why Should We Care About Them?

Even though these kingdoms are gone now, they left behind amazing treasures! They built beautiful temples, wrote cool stories, and invented clever things. The way they lived and ruled helped shape Korea into the country it is today.

Think of it like building with LEGOs – each kingdom added its own special bricks to make the whole picture. We can still see their old castles and learn about their lives!

Who Won the Kingdom Game?

After many years of competition, one kingdom became the ultimate winner! Silla, the kingdom in the southeast, eventually became the strongest. They teamed up with a powerful neighbor and managed to unite all three kingdoms under one rule. This was a HUGE moment, like winning the biggest game ever! It meant Korea was finally one big country again, thanks to the brave people of Silla.
