Germany's Awesome States!

Germany is a country in Europe, like a big puzzle piece in the middle of other countries! It has 16 states, which are like smaller countries inside the big one. Some states are super big, like a giant playground, while others are small like your bedroom. They all have different kinds of weather, from sunny beaches to snowy mountains!

A long, long time ago, after a big war, Germany was split into pieces. Then, people decided to put it back together, like a puzzle! They made 16 states, and some of them joined up later, like friends deciding to play together. It took many years to become the Germany we know today, with all its states working together.

Did you know some states are called 'Free States'? It's just a fancy name, like calling your favorite toy a 'super-duper explorer'! Two states are actually cities called 'city-states' because the whole state is just one big city. And one state is made up of two separate cities, like having two favorite spots in different neighborhoods!

People in Germany's states work in all sorts of jobs! Some states are famous for making cars, like super-fast race cars. Others are great for growing yummy food like apples and potatoes. Many people also work in factories making cool gadgets or in offices. Everyone helps make their state special and important!
