Saga Pearl II

The Saga Pearl II was a super-duper big ship, like a floating hotel for people to go on vacation! It was built a long, long time ago, in 1981, in a country called Germany. This ship didn't always have the name Saga Pearl II. It started its life as the 'Astor'. Then, it was called 'Arkona' when it sailed for East Germany. Later, it became 'Astoria' and then 'Quest for Adventure' before finally being known as Saga Pearl II. It's like a chameleon, changing its name and its look over the years as different people owned it and took it on new journeys across the sea!

The Saga Pearl II was a special ship because it took people on exciting holidays. Imagine going to sleep in your room and waking up in a brand new country! That's what this ship did. It sailed for many years, carrying happy travelers. Even though it's not sailing anymore, it was a part of many people's amazing vacation memories, like a big, happy adventure machine on the water.

Sadly, in 2022, the ship was taken apart, piece by piece, in a process called scrapping.
