The Red Sea Governorate is a super long and skinny place in Egypt, way down in the southeast corner. Itβs like a long hug between the big Nile River and the amazing Red Sea. This place is so big, it even touches another country called Sudan! Its capital city, where the most people live, is called Hurghada. It's a place where the sun shines a lot and the land can be very dry and sandy.
A Land of Sun and Sand!
This governorate is mostly desert, which means lots of sand and rocks! But don't let that fool you, it's also home to the famous Red Sea, which is full of colorful fish and coral reefs. The weather here is usually very warm and sunny, perfect for playing outside.
