It's a very dry and hot place, but it's also home to many amazing things. Rajasthan shares a border with a country called Pakistan, and also with other states in India.

A Place of Ancient Wonders

Long, long ago, people lived in Rajasthan and built amazing places. You can still see the ruins of old cities from the Indus Valley civilization! There's also a beautiful mountain called Mount Abu, which is the only hill station in Rajasthan.

It's a special place for Jain people to visit. Rajasthan is also famous for its incredible wildlife, especially tigers and lots of colorful birds in its national parks.

Rajasthan is a fantastic place for animals. It has five national parks where tigers roam free! Imagine seeing a tiger up close – it’s like seeing a giant, striped cat. There are also special parks, like Keoladeo National Park, where thousands of birds come to visit. It’s like a giant bird party happening all the time, with birds from all over the world!

A City Built for Kings!

The capital city of Rajasthan is called Jaipur, and it's also the biggest city. Jaipur is known as the 'Pink City' because many of its buildings are painted pink. It's a busy place with lots of people and exciting things to see. Other important cities include Jodhpur and Udaipur, which are also full of history and beautiful palaces. Rajasthan was officially made a state a long time ago, in 1949.
