Panama

It’s a giant ditch that ships can sail through to go from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean without sailing all the way around South America! This shortcut saves ships so much time and is super important for trading things all over the world. It was built a long, long time ago and is still one of the busiest waterways ever!
