Where the Land Meets the Sea!

Imagine a country shaped like a long, wiggly finger pointing north! That's Norway. It has a super long coastline, like a giant string of pearls, with the big, blue ocean on one side and mountains on the other. Some parts of Norway are so far north they are covered in snow and ice, like a winter wonderland all year round! It even has islands way up in the Arctic Ocean, where polar bears roam.

Once Upon a Time: Vikings and Kings!

Long, long ago, brave Viking explorers sailed from Norway in their longboats. They were amazing sailors! Over 1,100 years ago, Norway became one big kingdom, ruled by kings. For a long time, it was connected to other countries, like Denmark and Sweden. During World War II, Norway was even occupied by other countries, but the Norwegian people were very strong and eventually became free again.

Happy People and Cool Jobs!

Guess what? People in Norway are some of the happiest in the world! They have a king and a prime minister who help run the country. Many Norwegians work with nature, like fishing for delicious seafood or cutting down trees for wood. They also have lots of oil and gas deep under the sea, which helps make their country strong and provides jobs for many people.

Learning Adventures!

Kids in Norway go to school just like you! They learn all sorts of things, from reading and math to science and history. They also learn about their own culture and traditions. Schools are important for helping everyone grow up to be smart and contribute to their country. It's a place where learning is a big adventure!
