Sweden

Sweden is a big country in Northern Europe, like a giant mitten on the map! It has long neighbors to the west called Norway and to the east called Finland. It's so long that the weather can be very different from the top to the bottom. Think of it like having summer at one end and winter at the other, all at the same time!

People have lived in Sweden for thousands of years, even before the time of knights and castles! Brave explorers called Norsemen sailed the seas. Later, Sweden became a powerful kingdom, even controlling lands around the Baltic Sea. It's a place with a super long story, full of kings, queens, and brave adventurers.

Sweden is a very happy and safe place to live. They have amazing schools that are free for everyone, and healthcare too! They are also really good at making things and trading them with other countries. It's like they have a superpower for being fair and making sure everyone is looked after.

Did you know Sweden is the biggest country in the Nordic region? It's huge! Even though it's so big, not many people live there compared to its size, so there's lots of nature to explore. Their capital city, Stockholm, is built on islands, making it look like a magical water city!
