Neo-Assyrian Empire

Long, long ago, there was a super-strong group of people called the Assyrians. They built a huge empire called the Neo-Assyrian Empire. It was like a giant kingdom that stretched across many lands! To send messages across their huge empire, they built special roads and had relay stations, like a super-fast postal service. This helped them rule their lands much better.

Even though the Neo-Assyrian Empire is gone now, it left a big mark! Other empires copied their ideas for how to run a country and how to build a strong army. Their stories and ideas even influenced parts of the Bible! They were so important that people still talk about them today, and they were like the first 'world empire'.
