National Rugby League

This game has a long story! It all began way back in 1908. Over many years, the game changed and grew, like a seedling becoming a big tree. There was even a time called the 'Super League war' in the 1990s! Finally, in 1998, the NRL we know today was created. Every year, from March to October, teams play lots of games. The team that wins the most games is called the 'minor premiers' and gets a special shield. Then, the top eight teams play in a special knockout tournament called the finals. The two best teams go to the Grand Final, a huge game where they fight for the Provan-Summons Trophy. The winners are the NRL champions for that year!
