Where in the World is London?
London is a super big city in England, a country in Europe. The London Boroughs are like neighborhoods, but much, much bigger! Some are right in the middle of London, where all the famous sights are, like Big Ben. Others are further out, with big parks and quiet streets. They all have different kinds of weather, mostly rainy and a bit chilly, but sometimes sunny and warm in the summer.
How Did London Get So Big?
A super long time ago, London was just a small town. Over hundreds of years, it grew and grew! People built more houses, shops, and roads. Eventually, the government decided to divide London into these special areas called Boroughs to help manage everything. It’s like when your school gets bigger and they divide it into different classrooms for different grades!

Lots and lots of people live in London's Boroughs! Over 8 million people call London home, which is more than everyone in many countries combined! People from all over the world live here, speaking tons of different languages.
This makes London a really exciting place with amazing food, music, and festivals from everywhere. You might even meet someone who speaks a language you’ve never heard before!

People in London Boroughs have all sorts of jobs. Some people work in tall buildings, helping businesses. Others work in shops, hospitals, or schools. Many people work in places that help tourists, like museums or famous landmarks. There are also lots of artists, musicians, and chefs who make London a vibrant and fun place to be.
