University College London, or UCL for short, is a super big school right in the middle of London, England! It's like a city of learning with lots of buildings. One part is in a busy area called Bloomsbury, and another new part is way out east in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It's a place where students from all over the world come to study and discover new ideas.

UCL started a long, long time ago in 1826! The people who started it wanted everyone to be able to learn, no matter what they believed. This was super special back then because many schools only let certain people in. UCL was one of the very first places in England to say 'yes' to everyone, including girls, which was a huge deal!

At UCL, people learn about almost everything you can imagine! They have 11 big groups of subjects, like science, art, and medicine. They even have cool museums with ancient Egyptian treasures and weird animal skeletons. Imagine learning about mummies or seeing a stuffed badger!
