Isaiah

Imagine a super-smart messenger from a long, long time ago! That was Isaiah. He lived in a place called Judah, which is now part of Israel.

Isaiah wasn't a king or a soldier, but he had a really important job: he spoke for God. He told people what God wanted them to do and what would happen in the future. His words were so special that they were written down in a big book called the Book of Isaiah, which is part of the Bible.

Isaiah lived a super long time ago, even before dinosaurs were around (well, almost!). He was around during the time of kings in Judah, like King Uzziah, King Jotham, King Ahaz, and King Hezekiah. This was about 700 years before Jesus was born.

Think of it like this: if your grandparents are old, Isaiah lived way, way, WAY before even their grandparents' grandparents! His messages were important for the people living then, and they are still important for us today.

Isaiah told people about big things that would happen. He talked about a special baby who would be born, who would bring peace and hope to everyone. This is called a prophecy.

He also told people to be kind, fair, and to love each other. He warned them when they weren't doing the right thing. His messages were like a guiding light, showing people the best way to live.

Some of his prophecies even came true hundreds of years later!

Isaiah's words are like a time capsule filled with important lessons. Even though he lived so long ago, his messages about hope, justice, and peace are still super relevant. People still read the Book of Isaiah to learn how to be good and to understand big ideas about the future.
