After a very long and difficult journey, Stanley finally found Dr. Livingstone alive! He famously said, 'Dr.
Livingstone, I presume?' It was like finding a needle in a giant haystack!

Stanley also explored a huge river in Africa called the Congo River. This river is so big, it's like a giant watery highway through the jungle. He traveled all the way down the river, which was super dangerous because there were waterfalls and rapids.
He discovered so much about this amazing place and helped people learn about the geography of Africa. His journeys helped map out parts of the world that were mysterious to others.
