Haiti

Haiti is a sunny country in the Caribbean Sea, like a tropical playground! It's part of a big island called Hispaniola, and it shares this island with another country. Think of it like sharing a giant cookie with a friend, but Haiti gets the bigger piece on the left side.

Long, long ago, people called the Taíno lived in Haiti. Then, explorers arrived, and Haiti became a place with French and Spanish influences. But the most incredible part is that Haiti was the very first country in the Americas to say NO to slavery and become free!

It was like a superhero moment where the people fought for their freedom and won. This made Haiti super special and the first free nation in the Caribbean.

Haiti is a busy place with over 11 million people, making it the most crowded country in the Caribbean! It's the third-largest island country there. People in Haiti speak two main languages: Haitian Creole and French.
