Godavari River

Our amazing Godavari River starts its adventure high up in the Trimbakeshwar hills, in a place called Nashik in India. It's like the river's secret hideout! From there, it begins to flow east, like a winding path across the land. It travels through different states, bringing water to many people and animals along its way. Think of it as a super long, watery highway!

The Godavari River is super, super long! It's the second longest river in all of India, which is a HUGE country. It's so big that it helps water a giant area, almost like a tenth of all of India! It's much longer than your longest school bus ride. This giant river is so important, people call it the 'Southern Ganges' because it's like the Ganges river but in the south of India.
