Every year on April 1st, they celebrate Odisha Day, remembering its long history and how it became the state it is today.

The people of Odisha speak a language called Odia. They have lots of special traditions and festivals that make their culture bright and exciting. Many people in Odisha belong to tribal groups, which adds even more unique customs and celebrations to the state. It’s like having many different kinds of colorful threads woven together to make a beautiful cloth.
