Ferdinand I of Romania

Imagine a king named Ferdinand! He was born a long, long time ago, in 1865. He wasn't born to be king right away, but he became the King of Romania in 1914.

He was like a captain of a big ship, guiding his country. He was known as Ferdinand the Unifier because he helped Romania become much larger. He was married to Queen Marie, and they had a big family.
