Islands Like Jewels in the Sea!

Imagine a necklace of islands scattered in the big, blue sea! That's Bahrain! It's a country made of about 50 natural islands and 33 more that people built. Most of the land is on one big island called Bahrain Island. It's like a playground in the water, sitting between Qatar and Saudi Arabia. A super long bridge connects it to Saudi Arabia, like a giant slide from one place to another!

Secrets from Super Long Ago!

Bahrain is super old! A long, long time ago, a civilization called Dilmun lived here. They were famous for finding the best pearls in the whole world! These pearls were so shiny and special, people wanted them everywhere. Bahrain was also one of the first places to learn about Islam a very, very long time ago.

Pearls, Boats, and Busy Cities!

For a long time, Bahrain was famous for its amazing pearls. People would dive into the sea to find them. Today, Bahrain is still a busy place! Its biggest city is called Manama, and it's full of tall buildings and lots of people. Many people who live there are visitors from other countries, making it a very international place.

Learning and Growing!

Kids in Bahrain go to school just like you! They learn reading, writing, and math. The country is also working hard to be good at other things besides just finding oil. They are building lots of banks and hotels to welcome visitors. This helps Bahrain grow and become a modern place for everyone.
