Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh is a super special place in the very northeast corner of India. It's like India's crown, with mountains reaching high into the clouds. This land is so big, it's almost as large as the country of Austria! It's a place where the sun seems to rise first, painting the mountains with beautiful colors. This amazing place is home to lots and lots of different people, like a big, happy family! There are about 23 main groups, called tribes, and even more smaller ones. Each tribe has its own special ways of dressing, singing, and celebrating.

It's like having 23 different kinds of parties happening all the time! The Nyishi people are the biggest group, and they live in the western part of this colorful land.

Arunachal Pradesh is a very big place, but not many people live there. If you spread everyone out, it's like having only 17 people in a space as big as 100 football fields! This means there are lots of wide-open spaces with huge mountains and deep forests. It's a perfect home for amazing animals and beautiful plants that you won't find anywhere else.

Kids in Arunachal Pradesh go to school just like you! They learn reading, writing, and math. Many schools are in the mountains, and some children might have to walk a little way to get there.
