Arthur Evans

Imagine being a super-detective, but instead of finding clues in a mystery book, you find them buried deep in the ground! That's what Arthur Evans did. He was an archaeologist, which means he loved digging up old things to learn about people who lived long, long ago.

He was especially interested in a place called Crete, a beautiful island in the sea. He found amazing treasures that helped us understand a whole forgotten world!

Arthur Evans heard about a big discovery on Crete. Someone had found parts of a giant palace! But it was stopped before they could learn more. Arthur thought this was super important.
