An American Tail

An American Tail is a super fun animated movie about a little mouse named Fievel Mousekewitz. Fievel and his family are leaving their home in Russia to find a better life in America. They want to be free! But during the big boat trip, Fievel gets lost. Oh no! He has to be very brave and try to find his family again in a new, big city.

Imagine arriving in a brand new place where everything is different! Fievel lands in New York City, which is full of tall buildings and lots of people. He's a tiny mouse in a giant world. He meets other mice and has to learn how to survive and make friends. It's like going to a new school, but much, much bigger and with more challenges!

Fievel's story is about being brave when things are scary. He misses his family a lot, but he doesn't give up. He makes new friends who help him. This movie shows us that even when you're small, you can do big things if you are determined. It also shows how important family is and how people (and mice!) can help each other.

This movie was made a long, long time ago, in 1986! It took lots of artists and people working together to draw every single picture. They used their imaginations to create Fievel's world. It's like drawing a giant comic book, but then making it move and talk. It was a big project to bring Fievel's adventure to life for everyone to enjoy.
