Tiger

Tigers are the biggest cats in the whole world! They have beautiful orange fur with black stripes that help them hide in the tall grass. Each tiger has its own special stripe pattern, like a fingerprint! They are super strong and can even swim. Tigers love to play and can be very curious, just like your pet cat, but much, much bigger!

Tigers live in faraway places like India, Russia, and some parts of Southeast Asia. They like to live in forests, grasslands, and even snowy places. Imagine a giant cat walking through a jungle or a snowy forest! They need lots of space to roam and hunt for their food. Sadly, there aren't as many tigers as there used to be.

Tigers are carnivores, which means they only eat meat. Their favorite meals are deer and wild pigs. They are excellent hunters and use their amazing eyesight and hearing to sneak up on their prey. A tiger can eat a lot of meat in one sitting – sometimes as much as 18 kilograms, which is like eating 36 big hamburgers!

Tigers have incredible senses. Their eyes can see really well in the dark, helping them hunt at night. Their big paws help them walk quietly, and their sharp claws can grab onto things. They can even roar very loudly, so loud that you can hear it from miles away! It’s their way of talking to other tigers.
