2025 Pahalgam Attack

Imagine a beautiful place called Pahalgam, full of green hills and happy visitors. On April 22, 2025, this happy place became very sad. Some people who wanted to hurt others came with big guns. They were like bullies who wanted to scare everyone away. Sadly, 26 people lost their lives that day, and many families were heartbroken. It was a very dark day for this lovely spot.

The people who did this were called terrorists. They were part of a group that wanted to cause trouble. They used powerful guns, like the ones you might see in movies, called M4 carbines and AK-47s. They hid in the forests around a popular spot called Baisaran Valley, which is usually full of people taking pictures and having fun. These bad guys were trying to make people afraid.

The people who attacked said they were angry about changes happening in the area. They thought that people from other places were moving in. They wanted to stop this by scaring everyone. They even asked some people to say special words to see if they were Muslim or not. This made the attack even more frightening for the innocent visitors.

After this terrible event, the countries of India and Pakistan got very upset with each other. They stopped talking and even stopped sharing things like water. It was like two friends having a big fight. They also sent away people who worked for them in the other country. This made everyone feel even more worried about what might happen next.
